Things I Love on Sunday

 

1. My beloved Links bracelet and a Victorian kaleidoscope that i found in Paris , 2. Snowball relaxing upon my sun-drenched balcony, 3. Airy curtains as a breeze sifts into my living room, 4. My warm precious fuzzy Muji blanket that i absolutely adore, 5. Vintage looking clips + pearls, beautiful accessories for a beautiful day.

Don't you just love those days when you have absolutely nothing to do but bask in your airy comfy apartment with the windows open, breeze flowing through the translucent curtains...more and more do i appreciate the simple joys of a peaceful and lovely sunday at home.

Just thought i'd share with you my newly acquired ASOS Mary Janes + ASOS Collared dress! The heels are sooo tall hahah! As an asian I'm considered super tall, so with these shoes, i definitely got some looks! Eh well, there's nothing that makes you feel sexier than sky high platforms and since i had the courage to buy these, then i definitely have to follow through and wear them more often...

The Romance of Fur

Maybe it's just me, but i've always found fur so very luscious (though i definitely do NOT encourage fur trapping of any kind). It brings me back to a time when Russian Princesses made their grand entrance in the royal balls glamorously draped in the most lush furs and wraps.

NOTD

Hey guys :)

Just wanted to do a quick nail of the day!!  I purchased this along with Essie's mint candy apple (which I wore previously for a NOTD here).  Today's nail color is also by Essie, and its "brooch the subject".  

I would describe the color as a beige-y nude.  I do like this color for a daily polish since it pretty much matches with everything :D.  This is a little darker and browner than your typical nude nail polish though...which I'm not sure if it bothers me but we'll see.

Bath & Body Works, Sephora & More!

Hey guys :)

School has started for a little over a week now, and with all things settled, I decided to run to the mall to stock up on some wallflowers since I recently ran out :(
In case you didn't know, wallflowers are these things by bath & body works which you plug into the socket and they make your room smell so so wonderful & i love them to bits.

When I got to bath & body works, I also saw that their candles were 50% off and I also picked up 2 of them...and I can't even begin to tell you how amazing they smell!

So sorry for the lack of update, I've been super duper busy juggling work with what little social life I have left! If you guys don't know yet, I'm currently the Fashion Intern at Prestige Magazine! I'm extremely bad at adjusting to life back at work (haha yes, i've gotten lazy during the hols!!)

For today's outfit I wanted to find something that would make me feel super Feminine & Gorgeous in an understated look that would fit a movie + nice dinner day. I opted for my gorgeous flowy Zara star patterned skirt because of it's absolutely stunning chiffon trail at the back. This has become my go-to pretty trendy skirt for those days when I can't decide whether I would like to dress up or down.

Today is Mac's last day in HK = sad sad day for me! Im going to miss her so much! We'll be blogging from opposite ends of the world now! I hope you still enjoy our posts!

For today's outfit of the day, I re-wore one of my all time fave outfits, the Willow skirt and VS sweater! This combo is my absolute go-to chic outfit for one of those comfy fresh winter days!
Whereas Mac wore her comfy Zara tights and an absolutely gorgeous topshop shirt that i completely fell in love with on first sight! If you were wondering where the location is, this is the lovely corridor that links the Island Shangri-La Hotel to the Conrad Hotel! I am absolutely in love with the serene turquoise painting that stretches across the length of the whole hallway, its breathtaking!
