Just A Typical Sunday Morning

DOUBLE OUTFIT OF THE DAY

M: Hey guys!

Hope you guys are having a great weekend so far!  We already have another double OOTD!
Today was basically a full day of R&R -- detoxing after my exams and Steph's internship y'know?

We first had lunch at 翠華 (a HK cafe chain), then headed to Repulse Bay for a spa session (exfoliate and oil massage) followed by Mission Impossible 4....sweeettt (TOM CRUISE!).

We both ended up choosing comfort over fashion today, but hope you guys still like this OOTD :)

Fabulously British in Hong Kong!

Hey all you sweethearts out there,

Today we bring you some pics from the gorgeous Jack Wills store in hk!

Jack Will has been open for a while here in HK, but it's me and mac's first visit to the lovely navy and pink striped store! (had to wait for mac to come back ;)

This Fabulously British store is pretty much the UK equivalent of US' Abercrombie & Fitch mixed with a little bit of Victoria Secret. (Have you seen their sexy + cosy Pjs?)

Loathe
*Extremely overpriced! HKD$4000 for a blazer?? Not even the sexiest red military blazer is worth that steep price!
*Fabrics for the scarves are a little rough, I'm definitely not one who can stand scratchy scarves!

However!

Love
*The beautiful colors and design of the store! It's absolutely gorgeous!
*The Military Jackets are to die for!
*Cutest color combinations for scarfs, socks and accessories alike!
*Looking for a xmas gift? Their gift wrap boxes are the most adorable things.
*Great place to take photos ;) AND, their staff are all extremely sweet & helpful!

Enjoy the photos! We had an amazing time browsing, even if you're not there to shop, it is definitely a great place to stop by and indulge in some colorful eye candy!

HOME & Perfume

Hey guys :)

I got home last night and have just been unpacking, catching up with parents, you know all that stuff.  My dad recently went to New York for a business trip and went to abercrombie to pick up some jeans for me!

I went home to find this perfume sitting on my drawer, so I thought I would share it with you guys and one other perfume I recently purchased:

"A&F no. 1 perfume"

This smells exactly like the A&F shop itself.  I'm sure most of you have all been inside Abercrombie before, but for those who haven't, they have this signature scent and since I can't describe it, this is what the website says: fresh peony, tangelo, white pepper, sandalwood and crisp white pine.
However, I find that the smell isn't as "in your face" as the smell in the store if you know what I mean :P

As for the packaging, I think its very clean looking & the bow just makes it super super cute!!

Overall, I do like this perfume and I think its perfect for spring and summer, when you want a more crisp scent.  I will be using this interchangeably with my D&G light blue (go check them out if you haven't!)

Kate Walsh's "Boyfriend"

As for this perfume, the scent is described to be a mixture of dark plum, myrrh, night blooming jasmine, benzoin tears, skin musk, golden amber and vanilla woods.

I personally find this scent very interesting -- it seems to smell different every time I smell it.  However, both my parents have told me that this scent is a little old for me.  I do have another friend who is the same age as I am who loves this as well (guess its a personal thing).

I have to say, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PACKAGING. the black and gold makes this perfume look super expensive and so pretty as a decoration!

Overall I still like this perfume, but I would consider this more to be a nighttime scent.  I also wouldn't recommend this for young teens, but more for people in their early 20s.

I hope you guys enjoyed reading this and found the review helpful!!
We also have a OOTD coming real soon,
Mac

Starry starry nights

OUTFIT OF THE NIGHT

Hello all you lovely people out there,
Sorry for the delay but I was completely exhausted after going out last night. To make up for it, today's OOTN has way more pics. I saw this starry skirt in Zara and completely fell in love with it! I actually saw it on so many people's blogs that I decided to lay low and blog about it later. But i just couldn't help myself! It was so pretty that I had to wear it! Hope you like how I matched it! xxx

For those of you who don't know, yesterday was my final day at my South China Morning Young Post internship. Such an amazing experience, so I went out to celebrate with my bestie Samara with some delish japanese food, bubbly, and the handsome sherlock holmes <3

For dinner we went to the gorgeous Roka Restaurant in Pacific Place. The atmosphere was absolutely enchanting with its gold and russet plated walls and dim candlelight. The whole place was seemingly surrounded in a glow of soft chit chat and the fragrances of smoky dishes.

Roka has restaurants in Hong Kong & London & Canary Wharf.

Atmosphere 5/5
Food 4/5 amazing but I have had better
Price 3/5 quite over priced for its small portions but we were pretty satisfied

BUBBLY: The Ayala Zero Dosage Brut Nature, beautiful golden colour, kind of tart, not my fave.

The Tuna Salad

The delicious Maki Rolls: Wagyu Beef Teriyakki & California roll

Me & Sam with our bubbly; The Ayala Zero Dosage
The amazing mango yogurt cake concoction, the sugar behind was absolute heaven

After the lovely dinner, we went for a stroll before our movie started. Whizzing a little from our bottle of bubbly, we laughed at everything in sight!

OMG! 50% AT MANGO!

Haha the guy that took the pic for us was disappointed that we didn't ask him to be in the picture!

I had an extremely lovely thursday evening. Heres to the start of the most wonderful time of the year!
Enjoy your holidays everyone!!! i hope you enjoyed today's post!

P.S Sherlock Holmes was absolutely AMAZING. I highly recommend it to everyone. If you haven't watched the first film, no biggie. GUYS if you're going to watch a film this christmas, forget breakign dawn. THIS IS THE ONE TO WATCH!!
